Crate motors were once thought to be the savior of racing...Now, they are nothing more than racing socialism..

Bring back capitalism..Put the engine builders back to work.

Small Blocks, stock heads, any cam, one carb, headers, stock ignition.

Crate motors will only cause confusion.

I remember when racers had to work harder to get their motors better.

Be interesting to see what CJ can do with that deal there. Its about time Ford got in the game..........The new S347JR sure looks good and supposed to be equal to the 602 and 604 GM motors. A little Ford Chevy powerplant rivalry could be a nice little spark to the series.

Ford has a couple of crate engines that have been competing for several years in the ASA LMS series. M-6007-D347R2 (a 347 cu in) and M-6010-BOSS302 (302 cu in) both of which compete against the GM 604. ASA gives the 604 a 50# break because the Ford engines out muscle the GM.

Thats what i am saying, there are very few 602s left. So you want everybody to put there 604 in the corner and go buy a 602,headers,carb,distributor and sale your good shocks and go buy 10 or so oil shocks @ $~ 200 a piece. Good luck. We don't need any more series around here, the tracks are not going to keep paying sanction fees for nothing.

Not talking about dropping down or anything like that.Do you not think they are alot out there in lower divisons that would like to do this when you could do it for alot less than $10,000 compaired to what some of the lower divison car cost.

No one has ask a track for a sanction fee if this goes.

THE MOST AFFORDABLE: NO GAS OR ADJUSTABLE SHOCKS, ONE TIRE BRAND (TWO COMPOUNDS, HARD COMPOUND TO BE RAN ON RIGHT REAR ONLY), PUMP FUEL OPTIONAL, 602. BUT SEEING AS MOST HAVE 604'S THEN GO 604'S... NOT EVERYONE HAS A $2400 SET OF GAS SHOCKS THOUGH. NO RADIO'S, NO FIBER GLASS TOPS, 100% SHEET METAL EXCEPT FOR THE NOSE. ALUMINUM ONLY ALLOWED (WHEELS, REAR END, TRANSMISSION, BELL HOUSING, ETC.) NO MAGNESIUM ANYTHING… NO MSD, JUST THE HEI DISTRIBUTER LIKE YOU HAVE STATED. I MEAN THERE ARE A TON OF COST SAVINGS THAT CAN BE DONE… GET RID OF THE COSTLY, FANCY LOOKING, WEIGHT SAVING, & ELECTRONIC CRAP… AND MAKE IT SIMPLE… SIMPLE IS EASY.. EASY IS SIMPLE.. BOTH ON THE MIND AND POCKET… WE ARE PRICING AND THINKING OUR WAY OUT OF RACING… SCALE IT BACK… THAT'S JUST MY OPINION AND IT MAY SOUND ABSOLUTELY STUPID… BUT I HAVE BEEN CALLED THAT AND A LOT MORE LATELY… LOL... NO SKIN OFF MY TAN BUTT...
